Volume 1 Ends on Guerilla Fuzz's 1st Birthday

8:29 PM on September 6, 2008

Today's strip marks the end of Volume 1.

Today is also the first anniversary of the Guerilla Fuzz webcomic. That's right, the very first GF strip was posted one year ago, on September 6, 2007. How's that for planning ahead, eh?

With the end of Volume 1, I'm going to take some time off to figure out where I want to go from here. I have some thoughts and plans, but I don't want to start posting more strips until I'm sure that they're going to be a solid step forward. It may be a little while before comics start going up again, but I promise it will be worth the wait.

In the meantime, look for some possible redrawings of some of the early strips, and perhaps an opportunity for a paper-based version of GF: Volume 1!

Penny Arcade Expo

9:13 PM on August 27, 2008

I'm heading to the Penny Arcade Expo gaming convention in Seattle. I'll be there from Thursday to Monday, so look for updates in my blog while I'm there.

This does mean that I won't be putting up a new comic until I get back, and I apologize for having this long of a gap in there. I'll be tying off Volume 1 pretty quickly once I'm back, though.

Ongoing Plots or Self-Contained Strips?

8:17 PM on August 16, 2008

I want to hear your opinions!

Do you prefer comics with ongoing plots (such as Order of the Stick or individual, self-contained strips, such as XKCD?

Or do you prefer the kind of thing you see in most newspaper comic strips, where there are mostly self-contained strips with the occasional short story arc thrown in?

Share your opinion with me in the forums, and vote in the poll.

Black Marker Needs Food Badly

1:40 PM on July 12, 2008

The next strip is halfway done, but I need to get a new Sharpie before I can finish it. My current one is getting low on ink and doesn't look very good anymore, so I don't want to draw a subpar strip.

Rest assured that the strip will be done soon, and we will continue to move forward towards the exciting resolution of Volume 1.

50!

Today's strip marks the 50th published issue of Guerilla Fuzz! Thanks for reading, everyone!
